Frequently asked questions
How do I connect my data?
- Open Pulseboard and tap Sign in with Google.
- Choose the Google account that your Fitbit data is linked to.
- Approve the read-only permissions for activity, health metrics, sleep and nutrition.
- Your numbers appear in the app, and you can then add widgets.
My widget shows no data
Check that you are signed in (Settings in Pulseboard) and that your Fitbit has synced to your Google account recently. Then open Pulseboard once so it can fetch the latest data and refresh your widgets.
Why do my widget numbers lag?
iOS gives each app a limited refresh budget for widgets, so updates can lag, especially when the phone is idle or in Low Power Mode. Pulseboard Pro refreshes more often. Open Pulseboard to refresh your widgets straight away.
How do I add a widget?
- Home Screen: touch and hold an empty area, tap the Edit or + button, search for Pulseboard, pick a widget and tap Add Widget.
- Lock Screen: touch and hold the Lock Screen, tap Customize, choose Lock Screen, tap the widget area, then pick Pulseboard.
- StandBy: turn on StandBy in Settings > StandBy, put your charging iPhone on its side, swipe to the widget stack, touch and hold it, tap + and choose Pulseboard.
How do I disconnect and delete my data?
Open Pulseboard, go to Settings and tap Disconnect. This revokes Pulseboard's Google access and deletes the cached data from your iPhone. You can also remove access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Deleting the app deletes the cache too. See the Privacy Policy for details.
How do I restore purchases?
Open Pulseboard, go to Settings and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the Apple Account you used to buy. To manage or cancel a subscription, go to Settings > your name > Subscriptions.
